Fire Burnt 22 Acres Near McClellan Park, Now Contained

MCCLELLAN PARK (CBS13) — A vegetation fire, later dubbed the 26 Fire, ignited Saturday evening in McClellan Park.

The fire started near 26 Street and Elkhorn Blvd.

The fire grew quickly due to the red flag conditions, but no structures were damaged nor were any injuries reported.

Air traffic was not interrupted by the flames.
