2 Women Arrested In Connection To Turlock Sikh Temple Brawl

TURLOCK (CBS13) - Two women have been arrested in the ongoing investigation into a brawl at the Turlock Sikh temple.

The Turlock Police Department announced Friday that 47-year-old Manjit Kaur Johal and 45-year-old Anjit Kaur Bagri were arrested for their part in the brawl. According to investigators, the two women confronted two victims outside the temple's restrooms and then attacked them.

Further, investigators say Anjit stole personal property from one of the victims during the attack.

Both women surrendered themselves at Stanislaus County Jail on Thursday evening, police say.

In total, five people have now been arrested in connection to the Jan. 10 brawl that broke out at the temple.
