2 Teens At Phoenix House Party Hurt In Drive-By Shootings

PHOENIX (AP) — Phoenix police say two teenagers were wounded in a drive-by shooting at a house party and one of two suspect vehicles is still at large.

Lt. Paul Taylor says the shooting happened early Sunday in the area of 83rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye.

According to Taylor, shots were fired at party guests from a black Mercedes sedan and a white SUV.

Police say people at the party shot at the suspect vehicles in retaliation.

Taylor says two teenage boys suffered non-life-threatening wounds.

Responding officers located the SUV and have detained one man.

Taylor says officers are looking for the Mercedes.

He says the scene is still active.

The shooting occurred as police continue their search for a gunman suspected of killing seven people in drive-by attacks since March.
