2 People Suffer Minor Injuries After Garage Fire In Elk Grove

ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Firefighters say two people were transported for smoke inhalation after their garage caught fire Wednesday morning.

The scene is along Moonlight Way in Elk Grove.

Crews got to the scene a little after 5:30 a.m. Neighbors reported seeing massive flames coming from the garage.

Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the rest of the home. However, much of the home did suffer smoke damage.

Two cars in the driveway were also damaged.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
