2 Men Arrested After Body Found In Escalon Canal

ESCALON (CBS13) – Detectives have arrested two men in connection to the case of a man found dead in an Escalon canal.

The body of 47-year-old Edward William Magana was found in a canal near South Henry and River Roads Saturday morning, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office. Based on evidence found at the scene and on the body, investigators believe Magana was murdered.

Thursday night, 32-year-old Donald Roradaugh and 28-year-old Joseph Michael Denner were arrested. Both are facing a charge of murder, according to the sheriff's office.

Investigators have not detailed how or a reason why Magana was killed. The case is still under investigation.
