2 Inmates Missing From Mule Creek State Prison

IONE (CBS13) – Authorities are on the lookout for two inmates who walked away from the Mule Creek State Prison's minimum security facility Wednesday morning.

The two, 21-year-old Patrick Raines and 37-year-old Johnny Maciel, were found to be missing after a security check done around 10:50 a.m., California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officials say.

Raines is serving a 6-year sentence for carjacking out of San Diego County, while Maciel is serving a 15-year, 4-month sentence for second degree burglary out of Placer County.

Mule Creek State Prison houses about 2,900 minimum, medium and maximum-security inmates.

Anyone who sees Raines or Maciel is asked to call 911.
