2 Found Dead After Fire At Nevada City Home

NEVADA CITY (CBS13) – Authorities say two people have been found dead after a fire at a Nevada City home early Friday morning.

The scene is along the 17000 block of Country Circle, just off of Highway 49.

Fire crews were called to the area around 4 a.m., according to the Nevada County Consolidated Fire Department. Two people were then found dead, officials say.

The Nevada County Sheriff's Department is investigating the deaths, with the coroner currently at the scene.

Few details are being released about the fire.
