2 Dogs, Bird Die After Fire At Arden Arcade Home

ARDEN ARCADE (CBS13) – A homeowner's pets have died after a fire Wednesday morning.

The scene was along the 2100 block of Red Robin Lane, off of Howe Avenue. Metro Fire crews got to the scene a little after 9:30 a.m. and found a house on fire.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames, but two dogs and bird died in the fire.

The homeowner is being treated but is expected to be OK.

Power lines were also knocked down during the fire.
