2 Dead In Vallejo Murder-Suicide; Another Man Also Shot

VALLEJO, Calif. (AP) -- Officials say a man and a woman were found dead and a second man was found injured in an apparent murder-suicide in a suburb of San Francisco.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports Friday that the names of the three people and their relationships to each other were not immediately released.

A woman who was locked in an upstairs bedroom called police Thursday evening after hearing several gunshots in her Vallejo home. The woman told police her daughter and son-in-law were arguing because they had just gotten a divorce, the newspaper reported.

The caller's husband was downstairs with the arguing couple. When officers arrived, they found him outside the home suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the incident appeared to be a murder-suicide.
