2 Arrested In Placer County Massage Parlor Prostitution Investigation

NEVADA CITY (CBS13) – A man and a woman are under arrest on pimping charges after an investigation into suspicious activities at two Placer County massage parlors.

The investigation started back in January, according to the Auburn Police Department. Police say they were tipped off about possible human trafficking, pimping and prostitution going on at the Asian Massage Therapy & Foot business in Auburn and the Oriental Health Therapy parlor in Nevada City.

Investigators found that two people – 48-year-old Xiu Jie Feng and 56-year-old Phillip Hudson – own the two businesses. Feng's massage license was soon found to be fraudulent.

Further investigation unveiled more alleged violations. The two businesses were soon served a search warrant, along with a home along the 800 block of Lincoln Way in Auburn.

Feng and Hudson were arrested Wednesday on pimping, pandering and conspiracy charges. Feng also faces a human trafficking charge.

The investigation into the case is ongoing. Anyone with more information is asked to call Bill Olson Commander of the Placer Special Investigation Unit at (916) 409-8298 or Chief John Ruffcorn from the Auburn Police Department at (530) 823-4237 ext. 201.
