1 Person Shot By CHP Officer In Keyes Near Highway 99
STANISLAUS COUNTY (CBS13) - One person was shot by a CHP officer along Keyes Road near Highway 99 in the town of Keyes, and has been taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
We are on scene investigating an Officer Involved Shooting(OIS) involving a CHP Officer at Keyes Rd @ Hwy 99.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. Thursday, forcing the closure of the Keyes Road overpass over Highway 99, which remained closed Friday morning.
The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department, CHP, and the Stanislaus County District Attorney's Office are involved in the investigation, according to the sheriff's department.
Keyes Rd Overpass over Hwy 99 remains closed for the investigation. Hwy 99 is open to normal traffic.

Highway 99 is not being affected by the police activity.
No officers were injured in the incident.
