1 Person Dead After Crash On Highway 50, Driver Arrested For DUI

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The identity of the man killed in a Sunday crash involving four vehicles on has been released.

Investigators say 51-year-old David Condell was killed after a car rear-ended another vehicle on eastbound Highway 50 near Howe Avenue.

The crash happened Sunday evening after the driver of one car rear-ended another, causing a chain reaction.

Authorities arrested the driver that caused the crash. He has been identified as 34-year-old Joseph Anthony Short.

Short has been booked at Sacramento County Jail and is facing DUI and manslaughter charges. He is being held on $310,000 bail, according to the jail booking logs.
