1 Injured In Yolo County Hot Air Balloon Accident
WEST PLAINFIELD, Calif (CBS13) -- Authorities are Investigating an incident where a hot air balloon was blown over during take-off at Yolo County Airport. Authorities say a woman was transported by ambulance with minor injuries from the accident.
It's not known how the woman was injured, but witnesses said around 20 people were in the balloon basket and a sudden wind gust made conditions at the airfield difficult for baloonists.
Yolo County Sheriff and West Plainfield Fire Department responded to the incident.
