Homes buried by snow
Homes in the Sierra will have to dig out again, if they even were able to at all before.
One house we passed by off of Soda Springs Road looked completely buried by the snow. Only its roof could be seen.

More snow on the way
Homes in the Sierra are set to get another layer of snow with this storm.
Some homes still haven't fully dug out of the past storms -- making roof collapses an ongoing issue.
Roof collapse is a big deal when we've received 700" of snow for the season. And get this.... there's more snow on the way! We're expecting 2-4 feet for elevations above 4000'. @GoodDaySac @CBSSacramento https://t.co/PvWHp1O3BJ
