By: KDKA-TV News Staff

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh's Housing Authority is teaming up to help its residents further their careers.

The Housing Authority is partnering with the non-profit Year Up Pittsburgh.

They want to help young adults living in Housing Authority homes by training them in tech fields.

It's a six month program of both classes and training, followed by a six-month internship in their chosen field.

The first session is underway now, and picks up again in September.
