WVU Student Found Safe After Reports Of Disappearance

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (KDKA) -- West Virginia University Police say a student who was reported missing on Sunday has been found safe.

University Police say they found 19-year-old TaShala Turner in Morgantown, W.Va., on Monday evening. They said around 8:30 p.m. that Turner was with officers and her family.

Turner had reportedly been missing since Thursday.

On Monday afternoon, police said they were investigating, but they did not suspect foul play.

According to the university's website, Turner is a freshman and a member of the cross country team.
