Woman Waves Toilet Paper Out Bathroom Window After Drunk Man Mistakenly Enters Her House

ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Beth Gresock of Ross Township was awakened early Friday morning by someone moving about downstairs in her Lillac Avenue home.

She went into the upstairs bathroom, where she locked the door, wrote on the window with her lipstick - call police, "Call 911-Help."

Gresock also waved toilet paper out the window to attract attention.

Gresock estimates she was in the bathroom for about two hours, the intruder walked upstairs and tried unsuccessfully to open the bathroom door. She told KDKA-TV's Ralph Iannotti she remained calm, quiet and prayed throughout.

Eventually, a neighbor, Ann Caplan, saw her waving the toilet paper and called police.

When police arrive, they found 27-year-old old Brady Kellner asleep on a couch.

Police said he had been drinking and got into Gresock's through a back door by mistake. He's charged with criminal trespassing.

Gresock said, "to hear someone walking around in your house is frightening."

She said she had no idea who Kellner was.

Caplan saw the toilet paper fluttering in the window and went closer to Gresock's home, and she heard Gresock whisper, call 911.
