Stowe Twp. Woman Critical After Being Shot In Face

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are on the scene of a shooting in Stowe Township.

The first calls came in about 9:30 p.m. and it happened in the Pleasant Ridge Road area.

According to police, a 60-year-old woman was hit in the face with a bullet. However, she does not appear to be the intended target in this shooting.

She was sitting inside her home when a bullet entered the house. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was last listed in critical condition.

County Police, McKees Rocks Police and Stowe Township Police are all investigating.

Police are also investigating after two houses were hit by bullets.

No word on any suspects.
