Woman Robbed, Dragged By Car In Indiana County

CHERRYHILL TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- A woman is recovering after being dragged by a car in Indiana County.

State police say 37-year-old Elizabeth Wickens-Bacha was leaning inside the passenger side window of a car in the parking lot of the Cherryhill Township Fire Department.

She was holding $150.

Police say 21-year-old Jacob Shedlock, of Clymer grabbed the victim's right arm and proceeded to drive away dragging her alongside the vehicle.

The victim dropped the cash inside the car and police say Shedlock took off.

Wickens-Bacha was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment.

An arrest warrant for Shedlock will be obtained and criminal charges are pending.
