Woman Killed In Fiery Overnight Crash In Greensburg

GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- A Westmoreland County woman was killed overnight when her car crashed into a tree and burst into flames.

The crash happened around 2 a.m. along College Avenue in Greensburg.

The Westmoreland County Coroner says Claudette Brajdic, 52, of Mount Pleasant Township, drove off the road and hit a tree. Her car then burst into flames.

According to the coroner's office, weather conditions were not a factor in the crash, and investigators say she was not wearing a seatbelt.

Barjdic was pronounced dead at the scene just after 2:45 a.m.

The coroner's office says she died from multiple blunt force trauma and thermal injuries.

Greensburg Police are also investigating the crash.
