Woman Injured In Shooting Outside Nightclub Along W. Carson Street

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A woman was injured in a shooting outside Controversy nightclub along Carson Street in Pittsburgh on Saturday night.

Police say that officers were dispatched to investigate reports of shots being fired around 11:00 p.m.

Following the shots being fired, a woman was taken to the hospital by private transportation with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police say she arrived at the hospital in stable condition.

At the scene, shell casings were found in the parking lot along with a vehicle that had been hit with gunfire.

Police say their investigation is ongoing.
