Woman Injured In Baldwin Fire

BALDWIN (KDKA)- A woman was taken to the hospital after fire ripped through a bedroom of her home in Baldwin.

The fire started a little after 3 a.m. Wednesday at a home on Tush Drive.

Officials say the fire started in a back bedroom on the second floor of the home. Crews were able to quickly knock down the flames.

An older woman lived alone in the house. She was taken to the hospital to be treated for burns, but there is no word on her condition.

The Allegheny County Fire Marshal's office is looking into the cause of the fire.

The scene was cleared around 5:30 a.m.
