Woman Dies After Being Hit By Truck In Carrick

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A woman has died after she was hit by a truck in Carrick Friday evening.

The medical examiner has identified the victim as 36-year-old Tamara Pullen. According to Pittsburgh Police, it happened around 6:30 p.m. along Maytide Street near Biscayne Drive.

Police say Pullen had just walked out into the street when the vehicle struck her.

She was rushed to UPMC Mercy Hospital, but was pronounced dead there just after 7 p.m.
