According to police, Joann Knauff was arrested Tuesday night.

A resident on Haine School Road called police after seeing Knauff in their vehicle. When police arrived, they found Knauff with a plastic bag filled with prescription medications belonging to the resident.

The resident had left the medication in their vehicle, which was still in a shipping envelope.

During questioning, Knauff confessed to the burglaries. She is now facing a list of charges including, burglary, criminal trespass, loitering and prowling.

Knauff is currently being held in the Butler County Jail on $25,000 bond.
