Woman Arrested In Connection With 7 Recent Robberies

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A woman allegedly behind seven robberies that took place in the last two weeks has been arrested.

Police say 29-year-old Starnita Sloan, of Hazelwood, robbed seven different businesses – at least two at gunpoint – between Jan 18 and Feb. 3.

Police say the clerks handed over money after she either claimed to have a gun, or showed a gun, in each of the robberies.

It's unclear how much money was stolen.

Sloan is charged with seven counts of robbery.
