Woman Arrested In Connection To April Hit-And-Run

ALLEGHENY COUNTY (KDKA) -- Police arrested a woman Wednesday in connection to a fatal hit-and-run that took place in McKees Rocks earlier this year.

Allegheny County Police say 20-year-old Deria Mahone of the North Side was allegedly driving the vehicle that struck and killed 23-year-old Nikkolas Poliak on Saturday, April 9. The incident happened in the 1300-block of Vine Street in McKees Rocks.

Mahone was arrested Wednesday and is lodged in the Allegheny County jail. She is awaiting arraignment on an involuntary manslaughter charge.
