Police: Woman Shoots Man In Face In Churchill After Argument

CHURCHILL (KDKA) -- A woman was arrested Saturday after police say she shot a man after they had an argument in Churchill.

Officers and paramedics were sent to the intersection of Homer Drive and Churchill Road around 2:15 a.m. for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived on the scene, they found a 31-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. He was transported to a local trauma hospital in stable condition.

Police detained 32-year-old Taneisha Buice, of Verona, at the scene.

According to the Allegheny County Police investigation, Buice was in the vehicle with the victim when the two got into an argument and she shot him.

Buice was arrested and sent to the Allegheny County Jail. She will face charges of aggravated assault, attempted homicide and recklessly endangering another person.
