Wintry Mix Overnight To Leave Snow For Monday's Commute

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Rain, snow and more cold weather is all headed toward Pittsburgh.

Monday's weather will bring a messy start to the week.

Overnight precipitation will bring a wintry mix, with rain, wet snow and snow.

There will be a coating to about 1 inch by dawn.

"That band of snow showers will work it's way through, but it will come through as a bit of a mixed bag," KDKA's Jon Burnett said.

By noon Monday, lows will hit 30 degrees and we could see another inch of snow.

The National Weather Service also says areas north of Pittsburgh could get more like 2 to 4 inches.
