Suspect in custody after stabbing in Wilkinsburg
WILKINSBURG (KDKA) -- One man is hospitalized after being stabbed in Wilkinsburg on Tuesday morning.
Police were called to Woodlawn Avenue about 8:30 a.m. for reports of a man who was stabbed in the neck.
Detectives said 44-year-old Michael Winston was found near the scene with a knife. He was arrested and taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
The victim was taken to the hospital. He is listed in critical condition. According to the criminal complaint, the victim called 911 saying his roommate stabbed him in the neck after an argument.
Allegheny County police homicide detectives are leading the investigation.
