Transformer Fire Closes Wilkins Primary School

WILKINS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Wilkins Primary School will be closed Thursday, May 30 for students after a transformer explosion caused a fire to the school.

Faculty and staff will still have to report, but there were no injuries or entrapments reported.

The fire occurred at approximately 7:28 p.m. according to authorities.
