Why Can't Canada Find A Winger For Sidney Crosby?

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - It's no secret in Pittsburgh that finding the ideal wingers to play alongside Sidney Crosby can be a difficult task.  Now, Team Canada and Head Coach Mike Babcock are finding that out first-hand.

As Sean Gentile of The Sporting News writes, Crosby's line has been a mismatch of players throughout most of the Olympics as even Chris Kunitz is looking out of place at times. The notion that anyone can play on a line with him because he's the best player in the world is being proven wrong.

That's not to say it's something Crosby needs to change in his game as one of his Team Canada linemates Patrice Bergeron talked about what it takes to play alongside him given the constant demand to be at your very best.

Most importantly for Team Canada though is figuring things out for their semifinal matchup with Team USA Friday at noon.  Former Team USA Assistant General Manager and Assistant Coach Craig Patrick joined The FAN Morning Show and told them that it's the attitude Team USA has adopted of buying into the team mentality that has made them look so good throughout the tournament.
