Westmoreland County Prison To Pay Inmates At Prison To Get Coronavirus Vaccine

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. (KDKA) -- The Westmoreland County Prison Board has approved a plan to pay prison inmates who get a coronavirus shot.

The Tribune-Review reports the board voted Monday to pay inmates $25 in commissary credit if they receive the vaccine.

Doses will be available to current and future inmates. The plan follows guidelines set by the state.
