West End Transported Back In Time For Filming Of "Fences"

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh's West End is going back in time.

Vintage cars from the 1950s are parked along Wabash Street as crews begin staging for the film "Fences."

The movie is based on the famous, award-winning play written by iconic playwright and Pittsburgher August Wilson.

The movie stars Denzel Washington and Viola Davis.

"Fences" is also filming in the Hill District.
