WATCH: Gorillas Hunt For Easter Eggs At Ohio Zoo

CINCINNATI (KDKA) -- Gorillas at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden went wild at their annual Easter egg hunt this week.

Staff members hid colorful eggs and baskets around the animals' enclosure for them to track down and enjoy.

According to zoo officials, the gorillas don't go for the chocolate and jelly beans. Instead, their treats include hard boiled eggs, seeds and crackers.

"Every gorilla has their own technique for how to de-shell an egg, some do it with their fingers, some do it with their lips," one staffer said.

They explained the gorillas are used to fun activities as they are given some form of enrichment every single day.
