Washington Co. Fatal Hit-&-Run Suspect Taken Into Custody
ELLSWORTH BOROUGH (KDKA) - A man is facing charges after hitting and killing a woman along a road in Washington County.
According to police, 42-year-old Robert Myers Jr. hit a woman along State Route 917 in Ellsworth Borough Friday afternoon.
The woman was walking along the side of the road and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
After the crash, police say Myers fled the scene.
His pick-up truck was later found and he was taken into custody.
Myers is facing a list of charges including, homicide while driving under the influence.
