Amber Alert In Eastern Ohio Canceled, Child Reportedly Home Safe

WARREN, Ohio (KDKA) -- An amber alert issued in eastern Ohio has been canceled.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported that 20-year-old James Stennett was suspected of taking 2-month-old Jasper Stennett from a home on Hazelwood Avenue in Warren, Ohio, around 1:20 p.m. Thursday.

Warren is located about 21 miles west of Hermitage, Pa., in Mercer County.

The amber alert was canceled around 7:45 p.m.

CBS affiliate WKBN reports Stennett's mother, the child's grandmother, turned the infant over.

Stennett has reportedly been charged with domestic violence and interference with custody.
