Wagner Beats Robert Morris 62-54

NEW YORK (AP) - Michael Carey scored 12 of his 23 points in the first half and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds to help Northeast Conference leader Wagner beat Robert Morris 57-50 on Saturday to sweep the season series.

Henry Brooks and Corey Henson scored eight points apiece and JoJo Cooper had five assists for the Seahawks (20-9, 13-5), who have won five straight. In their previous meeting, Wagner defeated the defending conference champion Colonials 72-69 on Jan. 4.

Up by one at halftime, Wagner pulled further away on a 13-5 run capped by Carey's layup, but the Colonials closed to within 48-42 after Matty McConnell's back-to-back 3-pointers and Isaiah Still's layup off a steal.
