Violent Crash On The North Side

NORTH SIDE (KDKA)- Police are looking into a violent two-vehicle crash on the North Side.

A car, which witnesses said was speeding, slammed into the back of a pick-up truck along Brighton Road. It all happened around 2:30 Friday morning.

The driver of the car was unconscious when officers arrived on scene. She was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the pick-up truck wasn't seriously hurt.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
