Pedestrian Hit By SUV In Mt. Lebanon, Police Searching For Suspect

MT. LEBANON (KDKA) -- Police are searching for the driver of a black SUV who struck a pedestrian in Mt. Lebanon early Friday morning.

According to Mt. Lebanon police, the incident took place around 12 a.m. Friday on Central Square off Washington Road.

Police say the victim was struck by a black SUV. He went to a local hospital for treatment, but did not call 911. Mt. Lebanon Police say they were not notified of the hit-and-run until the pedestrian was already at the hospital.

The victim told police that someone asked him if he was OK after he was hit. Police are asking the good samaritan who checked on the victim to contact police as soon as possible.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information should call 911 and ask to speak to a Mt. Lebanon police officer.
