Vice President Joe Biden Makes Campaign Stop In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - With just two weeks until Election Day, several high profile Democrats and celebrities are visiting Pennsylvania to campaign for Hillary Clinton.

Today, Vice President Joe Biden is speaking at Chatham University. It was the first time the vice president has visited the university.

Earlier than their first classes begin, students were standing in line, along with other Clinton supporters and volunteers, waiting, to see Biden.

"I'm really excited to see him. I met Tim Kaine a couple of weeks ago," Barbara Goff said.

"It's Joe Biden, who wouldn't want to see our vice president?" Vanessa McCarthy-Johnson, a Clinton campaign volunteer, said.

The second in command of the United States, is in Pennsylvania to rally supporters for Clinton. Even those too young to vote came to Chatham to see him speak.

"Because I think he's a really good person," 8-year-old Rowan O'Connor said.

This will be the first presidential election for some of the Chatham University students who support Clinton. They are convinced she'll win the Keystone State.

Pennsylvania is considered to be a swing state, but it has voted Democrat in the past six elections.

"I think she can do it, considering her poll numbers and where Trump's poll numbers are. When he was at the debates saying he could win, I was like, 'Uh, have you seen your poll numbers?'" freshman Lex Kreiser said.

"I think that they're just locking up our votes. I know that Pennsylvania is kinda considered a swing state and everything, but I'm pretty confident that we'll be voting for Hillary Clinton," freshman Scott Friedman said.

On Thursday, Jon Bon Jovi will be performing at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in support of Clinton.
