Veteran's Taxi Crashes Into Building Scaffolding In Hazelwood

HAZELWOOD (KDKA) - A vehicle smashed into the scaffolding of a building in Hazelwood Monday morning.

Reports indicate it happened around 10 a.m. in the area of Flowers Avenue and 2nd Avenue.

The logo on the side of the vehicle reads "Veteran's Taxi."

"We were filling that hole in, then we saw the car coming down the street at a good speed, and it came crashing through the fence," said construction worker Eric Scoglietti.

One woman was taken to the hospital, but her injuries are not life-threatening.

Police have not said what led to the accident.
