VA Patient Reported Missing Found Safe

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Officials from the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System say a patient who was reported missing has been found.
George Warheit, 71, left the VA's Oakland facility, unaccompanied, at 4:35 p.m. on Wednesday.
VA police initiated a full search of the facility and did not locate him. Warheit was considered to be at-risk due to a diagnosis of severe dementia.
Early Thursday morning a VA spokeswoman said Warheit had been located, and was safe. No additional details were being released.
