Secretary Of The Navy Names USS Pittsburgh Among Future Vessels

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The US Navy is naming a new ship after our city.
The USS Pittsburgh will be the fifth Navy vessel to bear the city's name.
The first vessel was an ironclad gunboat used in the Civil War and the last was a submarine decommissioned in 2019.
The new vessel will be an amphibious warship.
