Two Men Shot In Strip District

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after two men showed up at a UPMC hospital with gunshot wounds early Saturday morning.

According to police, two men, a 27 year old and a 23 year old, showed up at UPMC Presbyterian with gunshot wounds sometime after 2 a.m. The 27-year-old man had gunshot wounds in the shoulder and chest and was in critical condition. The 23-year-old man had been shot in his left, upper arm and was in stable condition.

Police say that the shooting occurred in the 1600-block of Smallman Street in the Strip District after the two victims left the Room 16 nightclub.

The suspect is only described as a man who is about 5-feet-5-inches tall. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt at the time of the shooting.

The victims have not yet been identified. Police continue to investigate.
