GEORGES TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- One person was sent to the hospital after a crash involving a school bus and a vehicle in Fayette County on Thursday afternoon.
It happened around 3:50 p.m. on Route 857 near Collier Road in Georges Township.
Fairchance Fire Chief Raymond Eicher says a car lost control due to icy conditions and crashed into a Albert Gallatin Area School District school bus. The bus then went off the road and crashed into a utility pole.
There were 39 students on the bus at the time of the crash.
One person was transported with minor injuries. It is unclear if that person was in the vehicle or on the school bus.
