Uniontown Bicyclist Hit By Car, Flown To Hospital
UNIONTOWN (KDKA) - A bicyclist was flown to a nearby trauma center after being hit by a car in Uniontown Monday morning.
According to police, the accident happened in the 100-block of West Fayette Street around 9:13 a.m.
The man, who is believed to be in his 20's, pulled onto the street without stopping, and attempted to cross multiple lanes.
At that time, he was hit and thrown onto the windshield of a car.
Police say he suffered head and leg injuries.
No other details have been released at this time.
