2 Brothers Found Dead In Uniontown, Police Investigating

UNIONTOWN, Pa. (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after two brothers were found dead in their Fayette County home.

The deaths were first reported just after 1:30 p.m. at a home along John Street, near Lafayette School, in Uniontown.

The names of the brothers have not yet been released, but police say they are in their 40s and 50s.

A friend found their bodies and called police.

Investigators say the cause of their deaths remains under investigation; however, they stress it is not a homicide case.

"At this point, it's still under investigation, but it doesn't appear to be a homicide," said Lt. Thomas Kolencik, of Uniontown Police. "Whether it's drug-related or not is still to be determined until an autopsy is conducted."

Police were on the scene for hours, investigating. Hazmat crews were also called to the scene.

Officials also assured neighbors that there is no danger to the public
