Union High School Freshman Breaks 35-Year School High Jump Record

RIMERSBURG (KDKA) -- A freshman from Union High School in Rimersburg has made school history.

Hayden Smith shattered the school's 1985 record for the high jump with a jump of 6'5".

There were two PIAA officials on site who certified the jump.

Hayden will now compete at district championships on May 21, with the hope of qualifying for state championships.
