U.S. Marshals Arrest 2 Suspects In Waterfront Fatal Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Two more suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of rapper Wiz Khalifa's uncle earlier this month in a parking lot at The Waterfront are now in police custody.

The U.S. Marshals say they arrested 20-year-old Paul "Los" Sanders, Jr. this morning and have turned him over to the custody of Allegheny County homicide detectives.

Meanwhile, Allegheny County Police say a person of interest in the fatal shooting was also taken into custody with Sanders. He's identified as 20-year-old Michael Wolford.

Sources tell KDKA Wolford is the alleged trigger man.

The shooting happened back in the late night hours of Jan. 8 in a car parked outside of the Steak 'N Shake restaurant at The Waterfront.

Imani Porter, 20, of Point Breeze was shot in the head and later died from his injuries at the hospital.

Sanders told KDKA's Kym Gable, "I'm sorry for his family."

According to the U.S. Marshals, Sanders was taken into custody around 10:40 a.m. in Wilmerding. He was found on the second floor of an apartment in the 300-block of Caldwell Avenue.

Authorities say they also found crack cocaine, two digital scales and cell phones.

Sanders and Wolford are both facing criminal homicide, robbery and conspiracy charges, as well as additional drug charges stemming from their arrest today.

A third person in the apartment at the time of the arrests was also taken into custody. That person is facing drug charges.

Earlier this month, 17-year-old Jaron Young of Penn Hills turned himself into police in connection with the shooting.

He has been charged with homicide, conspiracy and several other crimes stemming from the shooting.
