Tyler Titus Closer To Becoming First Openly Transgender County Executive In Country After Winning Erie County Primary

ERIE COUNTY, Pa. (KDKA) -- Erie County could have the first openly transgender county executive in the country.

Tyler Titus won the Democratic nomination by 141 votes on Tuesday. Titus was the first trans person to hold public office in Pennsylvania when elected to the Erie City School Board.

Titus will face Republican Brenton Davis in the general election.
